Like I've mentioned previously, I will casually talk about some of the songs I am currently listening to. The one I want to start off with is Vampire Weekend's Giving Up the Gun. The song talks about a swordsman who gets old and can't fight as well anymore. Then with the age of guns coming about has made him obsolete. That's the basis of it. However, the song overall is composed nicely with a sort of tribal beat and heavenly bell chimes. Then obviously you throw in some fast strumming and drumming with the lead vocalist soft voice. The song is just something that gets me going. For lack of a better word, it makes me happy.
