- I make a picture and post it. Plain and simple. Not too much writing. I will have 365 pictures by the end of this all. So, if I don't necessarily have a picture up that day, I will post as many, soon, to make up for the days that passed. A photo a day keeps the doctor away, right? Also, I do like paying homage to people/videos/music that inspire me whether they are photographers, videographers, musicians, etc. I will be informing you about them on here. Video Appreciation Five
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs have recently become a favorite of mine again in the past year or so. (again) I've had an appreciation of them from the start and I became a fan of their newest album "It's Blitz!" One song particularly I enjoyed was "Heads Will Roll" and when I YouTubed the song a year or so ago I noticed they had a music video. Out of that curiosity, I fell in love with it. Watching the scene were the wolfman goes crazy was so fun because he starts murdering people and you'd think it'd be this very vulgar bloody scene. Instead, knowing Karen O, they bleed glitter and confetti. Making it a "fabulous" and "glittery" scene. The light up dance floor and the way the wolfman is dressed is very Michael Jackson circa "Billie Jean." I'm not sure if they were trying to make some comparison or commentary on Michael but it does make me wonder...
